The price of the fund scandal: the AKP has started to lose votes

The storm caused by the fund profiteering scandal has inflicted major damage. The erosion in market value caused by liquidation sales in investment funds has reached 6.4 trillion lira. Even polls conducted by pro-government circles say, “The crisis could affect the voting preferences of 20 per cent of AKP-MHP voters.”
