VCM tracking 30 local, international carbon project developers, CEO tells Al-Eqtisadiah

Saudi Arabia's Voluntary Carbon Market Co. (VCM) has traded over 15 million carbon credits, equivalent to $93.3 million, as the country aims to boost its carbon market amidst high domestic demand for credits. CEO Fadi Saadeh noted that VCM is tracking more than 30 local and international project developers to expand the project pipeline and attract investment, addressing the current imbalance between supply and demand as the nation works towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2060.
