Turnout for France protests estimated at 410,000 nationwide, interior ministry says

The ministry said late Saturday it estimated that a total 410,000 people turned out in fresh nationwide demonstrations over the cost of living. One of the unions organizing the rallies, the CGT, said it estimated 800,000 people participated.
