Saudi defense minister leads delegation attending Makkah pact countries' meeting with Iran

RIYADH: The Kingdom's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman is leading a delegation to Tehran for talks between countries party to the Makkah Agreement and Iran as part of efforts to ease regional tensions, the Saudi deputy minister for public diplomacy said on Monday. Ambassador Rayed Krimly said on his account on "X" platform that Prince Khaled will participate in the meeting in Tehran alongside Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and Head of Turkish Intelligence Ibrahim Kalin.
