Oman, China strengthen ties as Sultan Haitham makes historic visit

Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman made a historic state visit to China, the first by an Omani Sultan in 48 years, where he met with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on enhancing partnerships in trade, energy, technology, and digital infrastructure, as well as reaffirming mutual support for regional stability and sovereignty.
