Minnesota neighbours lose $148,500 award as court settles nine-year lake access dispute
A nine-year property dispute over access to Minnesota's Prairie Lake has taken another turn after an appeals court upheld a ruling in favour of the Blackwood Trust. The Monday decision confirms the trust's direct access to the lake and leaves an earlier $148,500 trespass award to neighbouring property owners cancelled. The dispute centred on conflicting land surveys dating back to 1997.
