Pimco Would Welcome 2027 UK Fiscal Deficit of Around 3.5%

Pimco economist Peder Beck-Friis looks ahead to UK Chancellor John Healey’s budget announcement, highlighting the Office for Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) fiscal deficit forecast for next year as the critical metric for the gilt market.
